Maungaraki Home & School Committee
Some recent fundraising activities
The Home & School Committee consists of a group of parents, a teacher representative and a Board of Trustees representative, who are all keen to support Maungaraki School.
We have two aims:
- to support our School financially through fundraising activities, and
- to connect our students and their families with the School and each other by providing social events and activities.
We generally meet once a term and also hold smaller planning meetings for specific activities throughout the year. We run a variety of fundraisers and are always open to new ideas.
We also have a Friends of the Home & School Committee. The purpose of this group is to provide extra parent help for specific events, while at the same time, involving and engaging a wider group of families in our school community. This support can be as little or as much as you want and does not require attendance at meetings. We will keep you updated on upcoming events and email the group when we need your support.
