The Home & School Association are working hard raising money: 60% for beautification of our school environment, 20% staff wish list and 20% keep in account to cover expenses. What can you do to help raise funds for the school?
- Collect Yummy stickers off fruit, attach to the sticker sheet supplied earlier in the year, or available in classrooms, and we get sports equipment.
- Buy toys at Playdays and ask for a rewards for our school.
- Looking for a home loan? Enquire with Campbell Fraser from NZ Home Loans on 233 2399 not only is he a parent of Maungaraki School he will also give back rewards to our school.
- Purchase your entertainment book through the school. For every book purchased (at a cost of $60), $12 goes to the school. Please contact the school office on 569 7205, or pop in with your money (or credit card) during school hours. For an order form and more details you can download here.
- Keep an eye out for grants for specific items or projects that we could apply for to help our operational funds go further.
- Join the Home & School! They would love to welcome new members to help boost the numbers of people available to help run functions for the school and come up with new ideas for fundraising and social events.
- Walk through the school from time to time to keep our vandalism costs down.
- Give us ideas.
- Allow your children to purchase school lunches from time to time.
