Rippa and Touch Rugby

This is New Zealand, and home of the Hurricanes and Wellington Lions, so of course we play rugby! We have touch and rippa rugby practise at school and take part in local tournaments with other local schools.

On Tuesday 17th February, a gorgeous sunny day in Petone, 14 of our youngsters participated in the 2009 Wellington Zone Year 3-4 interschool Rippa Rugby Tournament. They did very well, winning one, losing one and drawing with the winners of their pool - one more try and they would have clinched it!
