Children also participate with Grasshopper Tennis during term 1. The Junior school run a PMP (Perceptual Motor skills Programme) during Terms 2 and 3. The three Hills Schools also get together for some sporting and cultural events each year – Cross Country, Speech competitions, problem solving competitions.

Our students also have opportunities to participate in a range of extra activities (some attract an extra cost):

  • Keyboard lessons
  • Guitar lessons
  • Drum lessons
  • School Band

Our year 7 & 8 students attend Hutt Intermediate for technicraft one morning per week. They have classes in soft and hard textiles including cooking, computer work, woodwork and metal work.

Each year our Year 7 & 8 students have a class camp usually in the Wairarapa. This takes place over a school week with children being challenged with activities such as high and low ropes, kayaking, and a tramp to Mt Pal with an overnight stay in a hut.

In this section we have links to a number of events and activities that our students have been involved with. Please select items from the menu on the left.
