Each year the Year 7 & 8 students have an evening out to celebrate their time at Maungaraki School.
The Leavers function last year was at the Good World Chinese Restaurant in Lower Hutt.
Some parents joined us for the meal and others arrived in time for the speeches.
Speeches were presented by Alana Kirby, Eilish Austin on behalf of the students.
Our principal Carmen Jennings spoke about this amazing group of young adults her leavers speech is attached for you to read and the Y7 & 8 teacher Eric Pampalone also spoke.
The school wishes these leavers all the best for their on-going education at secondary school.
