The children of Maungaraki School were encouraged to dress up as a book character for the culmination of our Book Week.

During Book Week students moved around various teachers with their school house group looking at different book related activities.

It was rather a chilly winter's day but the pupils had a wonderful time parading in the playground, and many parents were  able to come along to observe the costumes and fun during the parade.
