Kia Ora, On behalf of the students, staff and community I would like to warmly welcome you to Maungaraki School. We have a dynamic, enthusiastic and caring team of passionate people guiding children through their learning from New Entrants to Year 8.

At Maungaraki School children are at the centre of all that we do. We believe in valuing progress and enjoying learning. We grow our learners from where they are and celebrate progress each and every day. We aim for our children to be fully involved in their learning and strive to offer a wide range of academic, social, cultural, physical and creative activities for them to pursue.

At Maungaraki School our community live by the vision Passion for Learning, Passion in Life - No reira, kia kaha ra. Our aim is to work together with families to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children.  We have high expectations for learning and behaviour, which work alongside our school vision and H.E.A.R.T values to create our inclusive environment.

A huge importance is placed on forming relationships and creating a place where learners feel safe to be challenged and take risks as they learn.

Please explore our wonderful website further. And please feel free to come and visit us anytime.

No reira, kia kaha ra,
